Alberta Basic Security Training Course
The ABST course is offered under the licensing of the Alberta Justice and Solicitor General. This 40-hour course provides the knowledge and training required to work in Alberta as a security guard. This course is offered during various times throughout the week, evenings, weekends, and regular business hours.

Behavioural Descriptive Interview Coaching and Course
Our two-hour coaching session will prepare you to answer behavioural-based competency questions using STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result). The STAR format is ideal for presenting your work history, education, and community involvement to an interview panel.
Additionally, CCJA offers a two-day BDI course intended as an introduction to and preparation for prospective interviewers in the Behavioural Descriptive Interview (BDI) process. This workshop is available on weekdays and weekends. Space is limited to 10 participants.
